Lucas spent his early career as a Strategy and Investment Analyst in Private Equity, initially at DotVector and then ScaleUp Capital. Across these roles his projects involved carrying out investment due diligence for early stage companies as well as growing and developing portfolio companies in the edtech and media sectors. Before this he graduated from Oxford with a degree in Mathematics.

In 2023 Lucas became a Director at Wigan Athletic where his responsibilities involved leading a data-driven approach to enhance the strategy across both the performance and the financial sides of the club. 

After working as a consultant at both Accenture and Eden McCallum, Nick then put theory into practice and gained experience in-house as Operations Manager at GlobalData. In this role he was responsible for assessing the individual business units, identifying and implementing initiatives to increase their growth and profitability.

At Accelerate Ventures Nick’s role covers the full investment process from origination through to IC, as well as supporting and advising our portfolio companies in a consulting capacity.

Lucile has over four years of experience in Private Equity and M&A across diverse industries, with a primary focus on the consumer sector, gained through her work at Ardian and CIBC in London. Her expertise spans both co-investments, as well as sell-side and buy-side transactions across Europe and North America. Lucile is highly passionate about partnering with innovative businesses to foster growth, generate positive impact, and achieve success within the sportstech ecosystem.

She holds degrees from Audencia Business School and Boston University and is trilingual, having been born in Paris and having lived in Argentina and the United States. As a triathlete, Lucile is well-positioned to support the next generation of sportstech startups and contribute to the expansion of Accelerate Ventures in the UK and Europe.

Raef joined Accelerate Ventures as a Senior Analyst in February 2024. He supports the team across the investment process, with a strong focus on deal origination and leading analysis on deals. He assists portfolio companies and provides consulting services to our partner companies.

Before joining Accelerate Ventures, Raef worked as an Analyst at Eden McCallum, a management consultancy, where he gained experience in strategic project work across multiple sectors. He graduated from the London School of Economics with a First Class Honours in Geography with Economics. During his university years, he captained the Men’ 1st XI Football team and founded the LSE Sports Business Group, an initiative aimed at connecting students with industry professionals and exploring trends in sports business.

Daniel is a Senior Analyst at Accelerate, where he has worked on a range of investment initiatives across the investment lifecycle. His role involves evaluating investment opportunities, and supporting with the effective management of portfolio companies. Daniel specialises in conducting commercial due diligence, performing financial and business analysis, and fostering strong relationships with founders of promising start-ups.

Prior to Accelerate, Daniel gained experience in strategy consulting through various projects and internships. Daniel studied Arabic and French at the University of Cambridge, during which he spent a year living in Jordan and Egypt. He then went on to the Cambridge Judge Business School where he read Management Studies.
